AES (NYSE: AES) recently announced it signed a 15-year wind power
purchase agreement with Texas retail electric provider Direct Energy,
a subsidiary of Centrica, plc. AES will sell all of the electricity
it produces from its first phase 120 megawatt (MW) Buffalo Gap wind
generation facility in Texas at fixed prices to Direct Energy.
BALLARD POWER (Nasdaq:BLDP) recently announced the signing of a Memorandum
of Understanding with Japanese partner EBARA Corporation and their
jointly-owned company, EBARA BALLARD Corporation, related to a transaction
that will provide funding for the next generation of cogeneration

& Magnet Co. Ltd. (Wintonic) of the People's Republic of China.
FUELCELL ENERGY (Nasdaq:FCEL) announced that a PPL Corporation subsidiary
has completed the installation of a clean, reliable Direct FuelCell
(DFC ) power plant for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc.
FuelCell Energy manufactured the hotel's fuel cell power plant.
SIEMENS (NYSE:SI) has more than 25 years of experience in the wind
energy industry, and for more than 40 years Siemens and Siemens Westinghouse
have been performing basic research and product development of a solid
