A Word About E-Mail Spoof

What is e-mail spoof?

"E-mail spoof" is the forging an e-mail header to make it appear as if it came from somewhere or someone other than the actual source.

For example, someone sends an e-mail with the header "news@SecuritySolutionsWatch.com" but it was NOT REALLY sent by SecuritySolutionsWatch.com but by someone else.

The reason this is done by unethical, or criminal entities, or scam artists is to get you to read the e-mail by making you think the e-mail is coming from a trusted source.

Unfortunately, "spoofing attacks", have become more common because of the sophistication of certain computer programs which enable such fraudulent parties to masquerade successfully as another.

SecuritySolutionsWatch.com Spoofing Attack

SecuritySolutionsWatch.com has recently been the victim of a spoofing attack and we have reported this situation to the authorities.

We sincerely apologize to all parties that have received e-mails from "SecuritySolutionsWatch.com" that they did not want. We did not send those e-mails.

Furthermore, we do not recommend the purchase or sale of any securities at any time.

We are an ethical company and we comply with all of the email laws and regulations. Our e-newsletter is only sent to those parties who have requested to opt-in to our list. Our email system provides an opt-out option to anyone at any time for any reason.

Please read our Terms Of Use.

We are doing our very best to solve this problem and we ask for your patience.

We understand how frustrating this situation is for those of you being affected and we assure we are doing everything we can to stop it.

In the meantime, there are ways to combat "spoof e-mails". These e-mails may be blocked, filtered and deleted. For more information on this topic, Google the term “spoof”.

Sincerely,

Amanda@SecuritySolutionsWatch.com
